  • 3 straws in plastic glass bagged and tied in cellophane party bag.
  • Streamer. 1 - 2 ft crepe paper (2-3 pieces) glued together and taped then wound around a popsicle stick. Wrap in plastic wrap and tape closed.
  • Fairy Princess Crown. 20-22 inches of colorful wired garland to make a circle (20” for 2-4 yr olds, 22” for 5-9 yr olds) Tie 3 - 12” strips of fancy ribbon from the site where the wired garland is connected.
  • Washing Mitt. Instructions are available for copying. Need terry, stretch terry or soft flannel remnants, from clearance at Walmart, Joann’s or other fabric stores.
  • Stickers.
  • Paper Airplane Kit. Use computer or card stock paper. Copy one or more airplane patterns (from a book or Google for patterns with picture directions and little to no words), stickers (think bright, fun stickers), place in a plastic bag. Suggest to cut paper in half to make 2 planes.
  • Ask scrapbooking friends if they have scraps they would like to donate.
  • Joann’s has a Day Camp section in the summer.
  • Nap Blanket for Toddlers. Fleece material cut approx. 28”x33”, round corners and may trim edges with zigzag stitch. Can also stitch together smaller pieces to create a quilt effect.
  • Hair Scrunchies. Christmas decoration hot glued to hair clips or hair pins; small bows hot glued to head bands; make scrunchies, cut fabric 5” wide by 12” long, sew into a tube, put elastic through, sew ends together - or Google a pattern. Very popular all over the world.
  • Necklace and bracelet. Use beads and stretch jewelry cord to make necklaces and bracelets.
  • Small Tote Bag. Cut colorful felt into a square (any size), sew sides and bottom together, sew ribbon to top for handles. Sew or iron on applique to trim or rickrack to one side of tote.
  • Bagged School Supplies. (We already create a bag with pens, pencils, erasers and pencil sharpener) In addition, solar calculators, scissors, rulers, drawing compass, paper punches, etc, can be purchased.
  • Bracelet or Necklace Kits. Bulk beads, charms, and jewelry cord. Cut cord to length (5-8” for bracelets, 20-22” for necklaces) and put a drop of glue on each end to secure. Place a variety of beads, some charms and cord into small ziplock bog or containers.
  • Key Chain Kit. Copy instructions from a purchased key chain kit or Google a pattern. Place in snack ziplock bag or container: two strips of different colored plastic craft cord about 24”, keychain loop or ring, beads, etc.
  • Save your Christmas cards and they can be cut into puzzles.
  • Card Kit. Include construction paper (folded into cards), stickers, tape or stick glue, misc. paper shapes.
